Local people in the Doune area will be given an opportunity to hear more about plans to build a new health centre in Doune at a public meeting on 6th January 2016.
This will include initial images which provide a first glimpse of what the new purpose-built health centre could look like. NHS staff will also be on hand to answer any questions and provide an update on progress.
Morag Farquhar, NHS Forth Valley Programme Director said: “This meeting will give local residents the chance to hear the latest on plans for the proposed new healthcare facility which would replace the existing health centre. We will also be unveiling outline designs which we are keen to discuss with the public and I’d therefore encourage local people to come along and find out more about the plans for this important local facility.”
The development of a new health centre is a key priority for NHS Forth Valley as the current facility requires considerable maintenance and is too small to accommodate the future needs of the growing local population.
The public meeting will take place on Wednesday 6th January 2016 at 7pm in the Muir Hall, Doune.
